Underpinning our work are the principles of person-centred care including:
Within this value system we treat each client individually and respect where they are at in their lives. We treat them all equally. We respect each of them, help them to realise the difference between them as people and their addictive behaviour in a non-judgemental manner. We validate their positive aspects and assist them to build up their self-confidence and self-esteem thereby assisting them to achieve their full potential.
We empower clients and their family members to make decisions that will have a positive effect on their lives. We believe that the Client is central in all our work.
